Newb question on current NeverSink filter from Oct-2019. Does it need to be updated or can we use it still for 3.9?

you'll want to update it first day of the league.
Thanks. Is Neversink basically the best one to use. It seems Filterblast let's you easily edit filters, though I haven't used it yet.

https://www.filterblade.xyz/

Edit: I suppose I should explain that this is Neversink's website for customizing and downloading your filter.

Thanks again. Just wondering if those check boxes actually work in customizing the filter. Sorry for my noobness.
Filterblade is where you go. Generally the new build is not ready until a few hours before season launch. If you have not used it before just download and save the normal one because that's all you will likely need the first day or two. When you have time go to youtube and there are many excellent tutorials on how to customize it. It takes some practice to dial it in without forgetting stuff but it is worth it. After the first few days I tend to use the strict or very strict generic template and customize off of that base.
