Rhoa feathers - seriously what are these for - apart from time sink chasing the Albino rhoa

Seriously - what the heck are Rhoa feathers for ? I found one a long time ago after whacking the Albino Rhoa. I didn't have all that many hours in the game. I certainly was not wearing a Fairgraves tricorne, holding a fishing rod, using Rainbow stride boots or any other ridiculous combination to land it.
Now with the new divination cards giving feathers (and fishing rods) I raise the question. Seems a rather expensive use of resources if it is not part of a bigger picture. Not to mention they go for 1 exalt atm ...though that seems cheap if you have to farm the mudflats for an albino rhoa for hours or days on end ... Last bumped on Dec 11, 2019, 7:13:59 PM

Fly fishing will be the meta one day, and those feathers will be part of the crafting recipe to tie a fly big enough to catch the Shaper's personal smallmouth, which is going to be THE chase monster in that league. (He's trying to eat the universe.) And that bass will drop the most awesome rod, which will be used to REALLY put melee back on the map...
