Anyone getting the Feeling Raider is going to be retooled?

Into a ballista using Raid Master?
Or am I missing something the new watch tower and Ballista Just screams to need a class of its own and Raider has been rather Meh when it has come to identity for a while now

They're adding new ascendancies in PoE2. We're likely going to see some specializations like you describe without reworking the existing ones. They've done most of the reworks... probably with the plans for the new ascendancies in mind. I would really like to see them redo the Aspirant. They should incorporate the changes they've made to the other 18.

Balistas in 3.9 is beta testing to polish it for 4.0

i wouldn't doubt a bit of a raider rework again, but probably not for 3.9. they did say the numbers buff for raider in 3.8 was more of a placeholder

Sure, they said that, but then the buff was enough to bring raider popularity in line with deadeye, with its own niche (delving).

Also, with tailwind boots coming in 3.9 I don't see raider becoming any less popular.
