Self-buff-only support gems for auras.
Yeah-yeah, there are plenty of heralds skills. But sometimes you want specifically one of aura effects, and you want it just for yourself.
Would be nice to have support gem that would allow this, with adjustments of reduced mana reservation and/or increased effect of auras. Last bumped on Dec 8, 2019, 6:43:15 AM

" Yeah OP, even though you specialize in daggers, just be a sword man. |

What makes you think i asked that for my current character? :)
" I know about the sword. Still it limits you quite some on build. Reason why i asked specifically for support gem, as more universal way of doing it. Last edited by Redwyrm#7685 on Dec 6, 2019, 9:26:06 PM

OP, I hope you at least realize that if this support DID exist, it would have a pretty hefty INCREASED mana reservation multiplier. It would have to, because otherwise it's just a straight buff with no downside for the majority of players and builds.
Really, it would be the almost exact same as if you just put an Empower on the auras as they work currently... so just do that? |

guess is not a bad idea to add supports for auras say:
focus effect: linked auras dont apply to allys, linked auras gain 1% increased effect of non curse auras every 400 non reserved mana negative mana multiplier: 120% effect: linked auras no longer provide a buff to allys, instead they apply a negative effect to enemys, as example: negative determination: enemys in radius have (32-51)% less Armour negative hatred: enemys in radius take 16-25% of your Physical Damage as Cold negative vitality: enemys have a 0.7-1.65% Life degeneration per second free mind 50% less effect of linked non curse auras 25% less reservation of linked non curse auras self found league fan http://www.pathofexile.com/forum/view-thread/324242/page/1 Last edited by caboom#7201 on Dec 7, 2019, 6:12:54 AM

Just no.
Also: this was already suggested multiple times. |

Most people play solo (According to GGG's own statistics)
Aura's being stronger for self is just asking for stronger auras lol Aura's affecting other people allows for other builds to benefit from them Such as a summoner giving hatred to their minions or a support running a bunch of defensive auras An Aura was not designed for party play It just has it as a mechanic so it can be used in many other ways, not JUST a self buff Asking for more power creep when they are about to buff Rares and Unique Mob You're in for a surprise when the 3.9 patch notes drop Last edited by Bloomania#2606 on Dec 8, 2019, 6:44:36 AM
