Exilecon was amazing.
That said, I couldn't go to any POE related chat without hordes of salty gomers crying over not getting free stuff. Most of the time it totally drowned out any discussion about what was actually happening/being announced, dragging every chat down into an unending slog of people crying over essentially nothing while totally ignoring all the awesome stuff coming down the pipe from GGG. Very much detracted from the experience, pls no more. Last bumped on Nov 17, 2019, 3:42:25 AM

" at this point you either troll or fanboy as hard as you can. or are you one of these guys that have to justify their stupid amount of mtx they bought? either way... they already admitted the twitch drops are not working as they should. 90% of the people did not receive anything. neither me nor any of my friends got anything. we all watched for more than 10 hours. you should read reddit once in a while. there is a thread hundreds of sites long already with people complaining about this. the whole mtx promise was made up to boost twitch counts(they also make money off twitch just so u know) i am sure. a clear lie. and so i pity all these fools still willingly buying ANYTHING of them. a company that rather lies to customers instead of giving them a free pixel at their biggest event ever. so sad. |

don't pay atention to certain names.. some people try too hard to bait for reactions most of the time.
as for the thread it was poorly implemented twitch drops should never have been a thing.. "Parade your victories, hide your defeats. Mortals are so insecure." I honestly wonder how many people went for the free loot, but stayed for the content.
It is kind of "here's your free beer! oh, and I put vinegar in it" which is fine for the piss-heads, but offensive to the ale connoisseur. There is almost certainly a net loss of good will. Probably best not do it again. " Aren't all forums always full of salty gomers? |
