Make some waves, if you got 0 drops

I've watched the streams for 2 full days. I linked my accounts the DAY IT WAS ANNOUNCED we needed to link the accounts. I double cecked all the setting and stuff the day of as well. So when i got 0 drops on day 1, I sent in a support ticket, and they sent me back this:

Thank you for the message and I am sorry to hear about this. We have spoken to the relevant team member and unfortunately this appears to be an issue on Twitch's end.

We have asked them to look into it, however I am afraid that at this stage there is nothing else we are able to do. I am sorry for any inconvenience that this may cause.

((This admits there is a problem and that it won't be fixed. But then they announced double drops, so I figured they fixed it. But still, nothing. This suggests to me that the problem still exists. So i sent in a ticket, hoping to get on a list or something, and maybe get some glowy eyes or something. It feels bad to see people winning and I seem to be unable to, even though I did everything right. And this is what they sent me back.))

I'm truly sorry to hear that you're having some bad luck with your Twitch Drops! We have spoken to the relevant team members regarding this and it appears that Twitch Drops are currently working correctly.

Please note that as mentioned here (https://www.pathofexile.com/forum/view-thread/2676838), these drops are random. If your accounts are correctly linked then I'm afraid this appears to simply be a bad case of RNG, unfortunately.

((Now this one tells me they don't care that things aren't working correctly, or that they honestly think things are working right. But then why are there so many of us without? We should be a negligible number with double drops. So, be prepared, if you got jack even though you watch all 24 hours, to be swept under the rug and ignored. We could try to become loud enough that they notice though, so this post is one of my attempts to drum up some ripples to make into a wave.

I was on 6.5 hours. I know my account is linked. I got no drops. Oh well.

They could always just charge for a virtual exilecon ticket that comes with free ingame goodies as part of the package and gives access to the streams of the stages, while no longer broadcasting the exilecon on twitch. :)

They baited viewership with free shit to pump their numbers then Twitch or some gremlin failed them. No biggie. It's not like we don't get free shit all the time. Whether mystery boxes on certain occasions or in game by challenges.

Why would you pay for that? Ziz or mathil tells me everything I need to know in 15 min TLDRs instead of 6+ hours. I could see paying to go there to hook up with like minded friends but not for a slow motion Vod. Does blizzcon sell its vod? Or anyone else? I think that plan would bomb.

I didn't get anything either. I'm guessing they're going to hand out some boxes now tbh. Seems like hardly anyone got any drops

Yeah, bit annoyed that I didn't get any drops after 2 full days, but that's life.

I did get to see some great announcements, and a lot of the deep dives were really interesting. Stoked for 3.9+, and PoE2 looks like it's going to be another big step up, so I'm 95% happy :-)

Tinfoil hat time: supposedly, if you have other tabs open, and tab away from the stream, twitch sets you to away, but doesn't update the ui. When you tab back all seems fine, green dot and all, but in actual fact, you're set as away. Would be a real bummer if that is in fact the case. Watched both days in full (enjoyed it vary much actually).... While grinding my first 100. Naturally I tabbed away from the stream for trades (sextants XD) and FB chat with a friend about the stream.

Naturally we'll never find out if that is actually what happened, but ye....

Haven't tested myself, read on reddit. Makes sense based on the figures Bex gave
