Cleansed Thoughts- Chaos Resistance is doubled.

So im at -13% chaos resistance, when I use Clear, Golden, Azure Oils on a amulet I get the Cleansed Thought Chaos REs. is Doubled. I equip the amulet with the buff. and I go from -13% to -26%
Working As intended ?? no way to add the negative to a positive not double the negative. ??? I just wasted a Golden oil on this buff with no warning a doubling of the negative would occur, nor in the notes on the wiki or a note on the buff itself. Would like my Golden Oil Back pls. " No refunds sorry... it's basic mathematics, -13% + -13% = -26% in all books. Try to get your chaos resist to positive numbers to really benefit from it. |

Except it shouldn't work like that, at -13% you have a certain amount of chaos res. The reason its negative is because of a 75% debuff, your base res should be multiplied then reduced by a debuff giving you some res somewhere in the positives, definitely is a bug.

" No. It clearly says "Chaos Resistance is doubled". It doesn't say "base chaos resistance is doubled" (not to mention that base chaos res is 0), nor "all bonuses to chaos resistance are doubled", not anything like that. -13 * 2 = -26 Remember, suffering is convenient.
That is why many people prefer it. Happiness requires effort. |

It doubles your uncapped chaos resistance after storyline penalties are applied.
