Fortify Effect on Minions / Mobs?!
How much hit-damage-reduction does the fortify-buff-effect give to mobs and minions?
I know charges are different on mobs/minions than on players, so I wonder how fortify behaves. Thanks in advance! :-) Last bumped on Oct 22, 2019, 8:56:50 AM

Isn't fortify 20% for everything?

" Yes, that is my question! ;) For charges, there is info on the wiki how it is different for players and mobs/minions. For fortify though, there was no info regarding how it effects mobs/minions on the wiki, and neither could I find anything on the forums. So... does anyone know? |

thats just charges.. you know, players can get many of them while monsters only three. player charges would be too weak for them especially power ones
you cant stack layers of fortify, I dont think there is any reason to believe fortify has different effect on players and monsters IGN: Eric_Lindros CET: Timezone Last edited by Ludvator#6587 on Oct 18, 2019, 4:09:31 PM

We have to assume fortify is the same on minions. Whoever figured out that charges were different on minions would have figured out if fortify was different too by now.
That's how is see it. |

Oh well, I did not expect that. :D
A lot of assumptions but no one knows for sure... How to get a statement from GGG for that? Or is there a way to read it from the games files? |

" Well... nope, it's 20% damage reduction against hits. It does not reduce Damage over Time, burning, desecrate, etc... Albeit charges have different effect on minions/monsters: " Fortify has the same effect on minions afaik. If you support minions with Fortify Support, they will get the same effect as a player would get from it (not taking into account fortify enhancements from tree, Ichimonji and such); the same if they get it from items like Kingmaker. |

hmm, fortify has the same effect on minions as far as I remember. Gotta check it up.
