[PS4] Max distance w/Leap Slam
The "Use Max Distance" checkbox for leap slam seems to be broken.
I've tried with many different characters at many different times, and it seems that Leap Slam always prefers to target an enemy, even one *right next to me*, if there is one, despite having "use max distance" set. This makes evading attacks (in some boss fights) or charging back to the light (while delving) *much* more difficult. If this isn't a bug... what the heck is the point of the checkbox? On all other skills I've tried, it seems to work as expected. Last bumped on Oct 21, 2019, 3:12:39 PM

Hi.
It works properly for me every time. Can you record a video of the problem? Does it happen on all characters? |

" Here's a video: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=kKRT9JGDScQ At first I show that I have max distance set, and even toggle it on and off a few times. Then in the first half, you see it working pretty consistently as expected. In the second half, it does fail repeatedly, and I basically hop in place, moving just slightly forward. While it doesn't happen 100% of the time, it does happen on multiple characters. It seems to happen more if I'm in the process of changing direction, or have just changed direction. Not sure if that's actually related or just a red herring.
" Thanks for the video! There does seem to be some weird behaviour with Leap Slam and unwalkable terrain based on your video. I've passed this on to be investigated.
It also seems to happen if I push the Leap button without moving the stick, IF there are monsters around.
Further explanation: Push the Leap button (stick centered) in hideout or when no monsters are present: My character leaps the standard distance in the direction they were facing. Push the Leap button (stick centered) while monsters are present: My character Leaps to the nearest target in the direction they were facing. EDIT: These are obviously both with the "Max Distance" checkbox checked. Last edited by QQPQ#9136 on Oct 21, 2019, 3:13:17 PM
