watcher's eye and zombies

Hi.
I'm using raise zombie,
with the Hatred aura + generosity.

I bought for 3ex a Watcher's eye jewel with 40% increased cold damage when using hatred.

i put it in the socket, and on PoB i see no change in zombies DPS.

any idea why?

it should apply to the zombies also since i used generosity, isn't it?

does the watchers eye mod affect other players in a party? (hint - no)
it ONLY affects you. your minions do not get something just because you do.

but it's weird.

generosity:
Generosity is a support gem. It increases the effect of linked non-curse auras on allies, but prevents them from affecting the player.

which means the minions benefit the aura, not me,
but i benefit the bonus, not them?

i guess i threw 3ex to the trash :-)

the minions get the aura with or without generosity. this has no effect on how watchers eye mods work.

and you can always just resell the thing. it isnt account bound.

You would not benefit from the bonus if you’re using generosity because you aren’t affected by Hatred.
