Ban auto trading bots? / Report section in Forum?

If you are not willing to implement an auction house (AH) since it could always get abused, can you at least ban those players abusing the lack of auto trading by using trade bots?

Most developer already have cheat detection engines to auto-ban the 100% bot behaviour players. If you cant auto ban them try to find out some other ways to detect bots and ban them pls... you can obviously make a lot of profit by using a bot as 2nd 3rd 4th and so on, account ....

Example:
ban: [Removed by Support] 100% bot by simply checking out the shop and your premium stash api ...
[Removed by Support]

Nobody acutaly playing the game would still trade 1 Chaos trades for Scrolls, Trans, Aug or Whetstones when he already has over 63k Chaos Orbs.

I'm sure by simply analysing the Api data and which kind of trades a player is doing, combined with the time spend in maps:HO you can find lots of bots and I'm pretty sure they are still not allowed.

Also why is there no report section, didnt you announce you ban players who scam, when you can proof it with a screenshot? Where is that Forum section where you can report them? Just had a trader today listing Watcher's Eye Unid iLvl86 and trying to sell his ilvl84 item ...

It was no mistake, since I didnt get the item he listed and kicked me instant. I also couldn't do the screenshot since he clicked apply and waited only a few secs... Analysing my recent trades from lat 10 hours you could find him and get him banned please? You will find the chat calling him, and you log the trade that didnt happen then. Clearly no ilvl 86 jewel!

if thats a real players name i suggest you edit it out.

to report bots you must send an email to GGG at support@grindinggear.com

video is the best proof, screenshots dont exactly hurt but you do need to be able to show something.. and most importantly accurate details such as player/account name and what happened.

just cant post that stuff publicly because public shaming is not allowed here for MANY reasons.

I hunt and report botters daily sadly i'm just one person targeting the dumb ones so..

just tryin to be helpful lol, i report those damned botters every day i hate em.

You can report them via that email i gave you but posting account/character names here is strictly forbidden, bots are generally third party programs ran over the top of a players client, thus it is a player technically.

I should also mention in my adventures of finding these evil doers many of them are actually sitting there watching and use these bots because its more efficient time wise, regardless its still unfair to legitimate currency flippers and other players who play by the rules.

edit: as you can see here for example support already edited your post lol.

Blaming GGG for not implementing automated trading, while calling for a ban on players who do it for them? :-p

The PoE economy can't support automated trading, so that's not going to happen. GGG is well aware of this.

If bots could be easily identified, then GGG could do something, but in reality it is far too resource intensive (especially for a small company) to verify with certainty that a player is a bot, and GGG can't act against them before they know.
Bots aren't actually a big problem anyway. The majority of players don't trade, and of those that do bots may be a problem for a tiny minority.

If GGG did something to automatically identify bots, and they succeeded, the botters would immediately change their code to circumvent any checks GGG had implemented. It would be a losing game for GGG as the botters have far more resources to put into it.
finding a bot is very simple, let's say that nobody wants to look for them ...

when did the blight league start?

poe trade

currency market
chaos x exa (109 exa in stash)
exa x chaos (7900 chaos in stash)

make two accounts
time / game / drop

here you have found the bots;)

bots are the "engine" of this type of game, I would miss a lot of "semi-real" players if they really banned the bots

No, you haven't. You've found a player that can be suspected of being a bot, but that's not enough proof to ban them. Getting that proof is very expensive for a small game company.
Secondly, whatever GGG does (at great cost), botters will circumvent in days at most, probably hours.
Trade bots are the only reason trading is bearable.
