Random rares with modifiers like "+1 to level of all spell skill gems" don't drop anymore

I've noticed today that there are no drops of rare items anymore with "+1/+2 to level of all spell skill gems" modifiers (that includes also modifiers like +1 to all fire spell skill gems, etc). At least - on red maps. It seems that they've went all gone after the recent patch.

To be sure I've went through over couple of thousand rare items drops, identifying EACH AND EVERY ONE of the rare item drops that I've got today.

Not even one drop! When just a couple of days ago I was getting at least one-two drops every map or so. So today I should've got at least a couple of dozen if not over hundred.

Same goes with the oils and blight map drops. For at least two days now I rarely get anything better than Azure oil. Haven't got even one black and I've finished like 50-60+ maps today, all tier 11-16, alched and vaal orbed. Got just ONE blighted map today. When just a couple of days ago I was getting one blighted map every 4-6 runs.15 total (including red ones) within just one day.

The only thing that has changed is that I'm not doing yellow maps anymore. I'm only running red maps now. I should get more not less. What happened?

Both. It's just not a common drop.

At the end of the day, if you need the mod, just alt spam. It's not hard to roll.

All spell gem mod is super rare. Alt spamming for it can take thousands of alts, so not seeing it on the handful of rares you identify isn't exactly unheard of.

RNG happened.

It's a global mod now, so of course +all is much more scarce than before. They definitely do drop though as I've seen a few. Stuff like +fire/cold/light is still relatively common though. I blew through all my alts the other day and have been picking up nearly every rare wand/dagger (along with rings, amulets, and belts) since they're easy on inventory space. I see +1 to this or that frequently.

You had some drop, ever?

Lucky bastard, most people have to craft to get those types of mods.

RNG at its finest, found this on my first char (ilv 10) couple with few other +1 that i sold



3 chars later, all over 60 and at most i found 2 crappy items with +1 with all 3 chars...

I had a few + all spell gems staves from delving and temples, one of which was actually pretty decent with the Lightning Architect mod. I took my chances trying to annul off a -req's mod and of course it nuked the + all spell gems lol.

+ all elements I'm finding fairly often on the random rare wands/daggers as I mentioned, and a couple of + all phys. I don't believe I've seen any + all chaos or melee from drops yet.

I was thinking the same thing about Vaal side areas but then this finally happened last night (1 month into Blight):



My first side area (as a filthy casual) and that happens. We all know that rng as used by GGG in PoE is the worst with 99.999% trash but moments like this are becoming fewer and farther between. But I do the same for mtx buying so we're equal GGG. Go ahead and keep biting the hands that feed you until you die.
