Low CPU usage
Its seems after last patch 3.8.1d my cpu is running on very low usage when i open the game, around 20%, and this is making my perfomance really bad, is there a way to make the game use the full power of my cpu? thanks!

low cpu usage doesnt affect performance
only 100% load will bottleneck performance ![]() ![]() even with vsync off its 50% load with 240fps in hideout Last edited by Sonidox#3895 on Oct 2, 2019, 4:22:43 PM

let me guess, you are on laptop and game started using wrong gpu?
at first before making thread you should read pinned one https://www.pathofexile.com/forum/view-thread/554733 Last edited by Sonidox#3895 on Oct 3, 2019, 4:18:43 AM

Actually no, its using the right gpu

than try to describe your problem in details, "bad peformance" is not enough
- is it low fps? - lags? = high latency - freezes when you make actions or anything else? you also have to show ping statistics to gateway with WinMTR and DXdiag.txt to show system spec as written in pinned thread Last edited by Sonidox#3895 on Oct 3, 2019, 9:06:19 AM

I think i figured what the problem is, i downloaded Intel XTU and doing some tests im getting something called Power Limit throttling which is apparently making my cpu clock speed a lot lower than it should, i dont know how to fix it tho. But will keep looking.

" actually, it is on their end. before the 3.8.1d patch i was playing fine then when it came my game was screwed. |

" it should be 100% cpu load and overheat to throttle, its not correct reason |

GGPK Defrag... If something happens after a patch it is with 100% certainty that something spooky happened to your file structure *CHOKE - Grinding Gear - CHOKE*
Just get the GGPK Defrag Tool and run it. It'll also save you some space :) Last edited by PunkBuzter#1041 on Oct 4, 2019, 1:44:01 PM
