Does feeding frenzy's agressive part works on Animated Weapons from Chains of Command?

I have 50 of them with feeding frenzy during blights and most of them just stand around doing nothing, while in 20 radius near them a new lane of mobs approaching.

At the same time Dancing Duo goes offscreen to clear packs even without feeding frenzy.

Kinda ruins the point of having 50 weapons, when most of them do nothing.
