How do I spread Elder Influence to maps I need if Shaper influence isn't around?

I need to make red elder spawn and I am trying to spread Elder influence to the red maps but there's no shaper influence around and I would need it to go south of Elder influence

At the minute there's nothing you can directly do to spread it, but those 2 shaper strongholds are going to make BIG problems for you if you don't clear them.

So clear the strongholds and I'd bet you have some spreadable influence after that.

At this point just continue running maps that aren't occupied by the elder. Soon the shaper will show up at the edges and you'll be able to increase the elder influence.

But like Gravedancer already mentioned, removing the strongholds would be a good start, since they are in a position that's interesting for the elder. Especially the lower one (I would have to check the atlas now for the name) would be a valuable target for the elder influcence, since you're able to close one border here.

/edit: besides that I would reccomend to use up the master missions. Especially the zana missions would be interesting for some free red maps. ;)
