FPS counter is the biggest lie in path of exile
Proof:
https://youtu.be/MhUPlsJetKk?t=469 Look at his FPS counter.. the game is like slideshow presentation, and the fps counter is happily jumping around 30fps.. What a joke you all losers are who dont believe it. I dislike rarity so much im almost quitting poe2. GGG.

" Latency has nothing to do with fps. latency is network related, it is literally the latency (=delay) between when network related 'requests' are sent, and arrive. You can have your game not be smooth, and it will not be a fps problem, the problem will be that there are too many things sent/received to the server and/or the server takes too much time to calculate everything ( everything is calculated server side in lockstep ) to send it all back in 'real time'. So you experience server delays when this happens. This makes the game not smooth, but this is different from fps, it's actually completely irrelated. I'm not saying that it's acceptable (of course it isn't). Now, what I just described should only be happening with lockstep, not predictive, so ... not completely sure what's going on in your case. " Indeed, supposedly, lockstep/predictive are completely irrelated to your fps, and should have no impact on the one displayed. " His fps counter displays values below 20 if you look carefully. He is experiencing both fps problem ( client side ) and network lags. SSF is not and will never be a standard for balance, it is not for people entitled to getting more without trading. " What is this proof of? A server lag? As you can see the particles moving, it's not the client lag, but server side lag. This behavior displayed on the video has nothing to do with client performance, only with the server side calculation. And client can't handle the information spikes causing the fps to fluctuate. Btw, this is how the client & server behaves when you do not have a build that has some shitty full screen AoE & ailment chaining bs , but you kill stuff efficiently for the server to handle it.

the game is scuffed, the code seems to be too but there's no competition.
but with the money and the incoming from whales should help 4.0 right? "Parade your victories, hide your defeats. Mortals are so insecure."

" Not sure about critical mistakes but I too notice that predictive mode works in a more stable way, desyncs happen very rarely. While lockstep is a complete chaos, it behaves as it pleases. Lags, stutters, occasional freezes and FPS is way worse. Well IDK, if for someone lockstep works better than predictive I'm happy for them. New mute system is terrible - no trade...

" I found pebbles to be the main enemy of predictive mode. Getting stuck behind them and rolling back because of it with my shield charge. Annoying. I represent only myself, my own thought and believes. I am individual, not a representative of the community.
