Titans Grip from WoW!
Allows you to dual-wield a pair of two-handed weapons.Cannot be combined with wielding staves or polearms.
This would be an awesome feature. I was getting my friend into the game and he said "If this game had titans grip I'd play that shit all day." I agree with that. It would make a good passive skill tree add-on. Also I feel as if there isn't enough melee builds at the moment. I'm still new so sorry if I'm wrong to others. Still think this would be a cool addition! This thread has been automatically archived. Replies are disabled.

Dual wield Marohi Erqi.

1. How exactly would you balance something like that? I could see it being a keystone, but then, how do you balance the downside? It'd have to be something like, -50% attack speed, or something.
2. As it stands, people complain about dual wielding being "pointless" (even though it's not). How is this keystone going to be perceived differently? 3. Art. You now need 6 new animation sets for DW 2h weapons, probably 1 per weapon type. Kinda expensive to execute this idea. My Keystone Ideas: http://www.pathofexile.com/forum/view-thread/744282

" 1. Melee is considered subpar, so I would imagine making my two swords even more powerful cannot hurt things. 2. 2 2H swords do a lot more damage than 2 1H? I mean, the keystone would obviously need to be surrounded by attack speed and accuracy increases, etc - Of course, this ignores survivability and is only concerned with damage, but both are melee concerns. 3. I always smirk when I see the "art" or "animation" card being played. They don't need to do anything new, they can just have all models hold the 2H the same way they held the 1H. Anyway, its not really art, its the animations and that isn't a hard thing to do, even for a small team (custom dances or ok but not more sword dances?) |

what exactly does this add to the game?

" Gives you the potential to have 3 skills supported by 5 supports. Gives you the ability to wield 2 2h weapons. Opens up new ways to build your character. Also your question is retarded. IGN: Smegacore

" You don't address the main issue: If people can dual wield 2h's, why would ANYONE ever play a single-wield 2h character? My Keystone Ideas: http://www.pathofexile.com/forum/view-thread/744282

I agree it would be fun, but there would have to be some serious downside to that because having 3x6l would really be huge advantage.
PS in addition to that you would have additional block chance, which isn't really gamebreaking but it's still suberb to non-block of one 2-handed weapon. Last edited by ChapterOne#4453 on Mar 17, 2013, 2:53:47 PM

" So basically it is a mandatory keystone for any build that wants to dual wield? Why do we want this again? " Your maturity level is quite impressive. IGN: Iolar

Okay, here's some balance ideas.
You must meet the combined STR and/or DEX requirement of both weapons to dual wield them. Dual 2-handers only provide 7.5% base block chance and 5% increased attack speed. You receive the same movement speed penalty as you would from a DEX shield. 30% Less Weapon Elemental Damage Last edited by Einsieg#6358 on Mar 17, 2013, 5:50:46 PM
