150% mana reserved question.

I have an EK marauder and I am planning on using Vitality(40%), Determination(40%), Purity(40%) and Hatred(30%).

My question is: With two 5% reduced mana reservation from the passive tree and reduced mana gems at level 17 (26% reduced mana cost)
Will i be able to use all of these auras at the same time?
I know it will be close but not really sure how the rounding works and would rather not spend all the skill points and time trying to achieve something which in the end won't work.

Well there might be some mechanic I'm not aware of right now but it should be 150%*0,64 which would result in a total of 96% of your mana being reserved.

That again would mean a pretty small mana pool left.

Passive stacks multiplicatively with Reduced Mana gem.

Vitality 40% * 0.74 * 0.9 = 26%
Determination 40% * 0.74 * 0.9 = 26%
Purity 40% * 0.74 * 0.9 = 26%
Hatred 30% * 0.74 * 0.9 = 19%

Total reserved = 97%

According to the wiki if you have 10% reduced mana reserved you should treat the mana reserved from auras as: 36% instead of 40% and 27% instead of 30%.
Then you should use the reduced mana gem 36*0.74= 26.64
take 26.64*3 and you get 79.92
Then you take 27*0.74= 19.98
79.92+19.98=99.9%

So depending on if it round up or down it will work or not. For example if it rounds down to 26 on all the 40% auras it will work.

I am using blood magic gems so mana won't be an issue ^^

My tempest shield tooltip says 19% reserved with a 78% Reduced Mana. So that's 19.5 rounding down to 19, I guess it's safe to assume it'll round down (and that the actual mana reserved is based on tooltip, did not bother to check actual mana reserved)

As far as I know Reduced Mana support and Reduced Mana Reservation stack additively. This is because Reduced Mana reduces the base cost.

So by this it would be:

Purity = 40% * 0.74 * 0.9 = 26.64%
Vitality = 40% * 0.74 * 0.9 = 26.64%
Determination = 40% * 0.74 * 0.9 = 26.64%
Hatred = 30% * 0.74 * 0.9 = 19.98

Total = 26.64 + 26.64 + 26.64 + 19.98 = 99.9%

I'm not sure how the game rounds this, but if it does you won't be able to do this without another rank of Reduced Mana. Unless of course it always rounds down.

K it definitely rounds down. But reserved mana seems to round up (but that's just 1 or 2 mana in the end) 19% reserved of 1080 is 206 (rounded up from 205) but it definitely isn't reserving any fractional % (19.5% of 1080 is 210)

I guess I'll just have to try it then :) Worst case I'll have to respec some points.

I tried this, and I discover that the game will round up. In fact, I can't use 3*40% + 1*30% auras with 2 Reduce Mana Reservation Passive and 1 Reduced Mana Gem at lv. 17. I suppose that I need to reach lv. 19 of the gem to use all of them.
