Animal summons + Animal summon nodes! What do you think?
" Why not make it a new type of gem? An active+support gem? You can cast an animal that uses all skills that are linked to it (with some restrictions ofc). So you can go for an animal that uses 1 strong skill quite often or many different skills with decent power. |

I just don't see this as feasible...
this would require a huge amount of new content with SERIOUS balance implications.. If you're looking for a viable solution to minion tedium, http://www.pathofexile.com/forum/view-thread/272015 my post about adding various skins to the existing minion system.. If we would be frightened about every new skill because of balancing issues, we should stop suggesting new skills and other mechanics as they all lead to some balancing work... And you know what? The suggesting area is there to make new suggestions (like skills, new mechanics etc.). |

I think the birds should have a chance to blind, like the Druid's ravens from Diablo II.
