Life leach stopped working properly

Hey POE team,

With the changes to melee this legion patch I decided to make a cyclone life leach character which was going very well and I have played it from the start of the league until now so this is not a complaint about melee or life leach in general, just the fact that about a week ago the game stopped tracking my life leach properly and so now I am dying way too much and wasting high end maps etc which is making the game unplayable. Previously other than huge hits from bosses or if I got frozen or lagged, my health would not go sown due to the insane life leach that I have then without changing anything about my character, this is no longer the case.

According to my character sheet I now only have 0.8% of damage as life leach but between the skill nodes and my equipment I count 4.6% and Vaal pact which should double this as per my knowledge. How can I fix this so my character is playable again?

Further to this when I use blood rage my life leach should increase to 5.8% which should more than account for the damage inherent in this skill and has done so in the past but now no longer does.

You need to unhide your characters or add PoB link and let us determine
the problem.

Also, you may not be logged into the correct account right now, as your highest level character cannot have gotten into Maps at this point.

First of all, though, the character displays all different types of Leech separately (e.g. 0.4% of damage leeched, 0.8% of attack damage leeched, 3.2% of physical attack damage leeched) ,mostly because the character sheet code cannot predict what damage types will be applied until a hit actually takes place. So that is likely just a display issue.

Second of all, if you were relying on "Life Leech effects are not removed at full life" - leech mechanics have changed such that the first is weaker than it was before because Leech is now practically capped at 5 seconds.

But yes, as Rakii said, posting on the account your character has with the character tab unhidden and/or a POB pastebin will help us investigate further.

Also, it is worth noting that maybe 30% of the time my life leach does work properly and I can play normally which shows that it is not me or my character but the rest of the time it is not kicking in or showing and the dying and losing maps etc is what is super frustrating about this.

I assume my account is still linked to when I tries to play on PC many years ago and gave up quickly. I am not playing on my Xbox account. How do I make it so you can see my new characters?

Believe you can log out, then try to log back in, and on the log in screen in the lower right it has buttons for the various different platforms ("Logging in on XBox? Click the button below to log in via Xbox Live" or something like that)

Thanks for the help so far, I was trying to do this on my mobile and it was too difficult so got my laptop out. Here is my xbox account and characters. The character in question is smashy mcsmash (terrible name I know). I can try and record a video on my xbox if that will help. Is there an easy way to do this?
