3.8 Top 3 META builds - Guessing Game

Pyroclast Mine Saboteur will be the best because it's what I'm starting with. Only people with expensive gaming PCs like mine are allowed to be top-tier.

" cobra lash will be spectral throw 2.0 " unless spectral throw gets some bonus effects like this. sure, ST can hit multiple times but its really only applicable during single target and requires a gem swap to be effective. the auto pierce is nice and its really fun way of playing, but i disagree that its stronger than chain. especially with deadeyes added chain and more dmg per remaining chain, i think cobra lash will beat out ST in clear and single target by a mile. |

" Im not worried about the damage. I think it has a weak clear speed potential to become a meta skill. If you use it with deadeye your poison damage will be nonexistent. Btw i would add Gloomfang to the mix ^^. Last edited by Motopsycho#5554 on Sep 1, 2019, 9:13:17 AM

" Here's the thing about Poet's Pen Nerf... While yes it was nerfed something most everyone isn't considering is that You can still hit the same exact procs on Poet's it just requires Twice as much attack speed. Also remember before the nerf most builds would get to a point they had to tone back on Attack Speed to not start Missing Procs. 4 APS pre Nerf Baseline with no CD Recovery gear to Now 8 APS Post Nerf. What this means is while some classes maybe struggle to hit those Attack Speed numbers WITH CD Recovery gear most any class can support the Attack Speed for baseline Poets CD. Classes like Deadeye, Raider, Zerker, and other super fast attacking Classes will have zero issues hitting the numbers for CD Recovery geared Poet's. Another example would be my Inquisitor i run Poet's on.. I was having to drop nodes on the tree, Delevel and Dequality my Faster Attacks to the point i would just outright remove it and things like this. All of which could be added back into the build to hit the new higher numbers. Theres also Self Cast VD to consider if you want to play a Class that you dont think can hit the Attack Speed thresholds. However i think Necromancer will have no issues hitting the basline 8APS and possibly could hit the CD Recovery numbers. But either way there's also mention of removing the CD on Desecrate as well and if that happens? That has even more far reaching implications. Like not even needing the Second Poet's to begin with anymore. There is a fine line between Consideration and Hesitation. The former is Wisdom, the latter is Fear. " i can see its clear potential being extreme, especially if it gets added projectiles with lab enchants or something. theres a reason why TS builds all focus on chain. chain is superior to pierce because you don't need to aim. ya as deadeye your poison damage would be less than assassin, but i think it would still be good. there are vast amount of ways to scale your poison damage, and poison being able to benefit from chaos damage over time multi now is going to be a MASSIVE boost on its own. ya gloomfang could be huge too as long as you're not focused on chaos damage, since it only adds non chaos damage as added chaos. |

" I would say chain is superior when you have no control over the projectile. Like TS as you said. And when you are in tunnel-like layouts (rooms/sewers/delve ect.) Unfortunately using chain effectively is pretty much a Deadeye only privilege, thats why i think pierce is superior in most cases. Last edited by Motopsycho#5554 on Sep 1, 2019, 9:46:21 AM

Pretty sure it'll be the same as in Legion, maybe necromancer gets bumped to 5% and raider to 1%.

I’m sunrises no one is bring up mines. I think various mine builds will account for about 15-20% with a comeback of Arc Mine. Various summoners will account for 30-40% spread mostly between Spectres and Zombies. Some variant of poison will take about 10% with Cyclone being the primary attack.
