Item lvl and max socket number (GGG atention plz)
" that's genius :O +1 |

" You should enroll in "Path of Scrubs: For Dummies" course at your local community college. If you're reading this, I'm probably on another year-long ban.
Thanks GGG. |

" This has nothing to do with reading damn guides about the game. I'm convinced I will not find this situation described in there anyway. Point is game restrict you from using identifying scroll on item that was identified. Game should have restriction on rolling maxed item too. |
|
" +1 I'll just give it a bump since it's actually a pretty neat idea. I for myself never needed this feature, but i'm sure it would help for plenty of ppl. Last edited by prh#1855 on Mar 16, 2013, 9:45:57 AM

Personally I would like to see dev response to this idea

" Another reason why item with max sockets should be restricted to roll again. This makes game more frustrating for no reason. |

I'm curious to know why requirement level and item level are even distinct concepts. As I understand it, iLevel determines the range of mods an item can roll. Why can't this number simply be the same as the level requirement?

SHOW ITEM LEVEL IN TOOLTIPS
its becoming more and more necessary to me, that we should have item level shown on loot without having to type /itemlevel each time in the chat box to figure it out. reason why GGG doesnt add this? their only answer so far "...it would confuse newer players" thats it... thats the only reason? really? make it a toggle in the options, defaults to off, that way your "newer" players cant become confused about seeing duplicate level information on gear. your more "veteran" players who are aware of the diff between item level and required level now wouldnt have to be assed to type /itemlevel on 10+ freaking pages of stashed loot because a vendor receipe gets changed. Things with "increased" and "decreased" in the tooltip are additive ... where as "More" or "Less" are multiplicative ...

" If you have no chromatics and its an easy to roll item (like weapon or shield) you can just keep roling with jewellers to change the socket colors. Its not strickly cost efficient, but its like quibbling over loose change compared to trying to trade for chroms. |

problems like this almost make the game unplayable id rather have game bugs than every half hr having to spend an hr searching through post to find how to play the game then finding the answer is wrong due to an update by the difficulty of learning basic game macancs such as this ruined this game i guess they think its fun like putting a sudoku puzzle on lvl 3 of a fps but it doesn't it just ups the learning curve and keeps new players away because they don't seem want you to know how to play
