the gold AH was perfectly serviceable.

But it also goes against what they're all about. If they added an auction house they'd have to lower drop rates, then nobody would be grinding their gear.

But then if they didn't lower drop rates everyone would complain that the game was too easy so much more. So they'd have to buff everything.

Then you have people complaining that everything is too powerful because their build isn't good enough.

There's definitely no way for them to do better than the middle ground they're at right now.
