Recommendations when shopping for 4/5-way emblem carriers?

So, for those of us who're looking around at people offering carries for 4/5 way emblem runs, what's the best way to go digging for the best carriers?

I've had a couple 4-ways so far and the carriers and loot were ok (4-5 rows), but pretty unspectacular. No one item worth more than a GCP, for example. So clearly I can do better than the "Will carry for free for the XP" spammers in 820. Got plenty of ex so don't mind paying for carrier - IF it's worth it. If I'm going to start blowing my Maraketh emblems, I'd like to at least not lose out on the deal, after all (especially if I'm actually paying for a carry service).

Of course there's dozens of listings in the Legion Shops subforums, but they're buried under all the other shop listings. Many have lots of vouches and screenshots of loot, but it's not particularly fun to comb through 10+ pages of shop threads and judging by dozens of pages of vouches. Or comparing loot rows shots while also calibrating for someone's screen resolution. And then some of them have weird awkward requirements like "Must be subscribed to my Twitch stream and bug me via Twitch".

So, just wondering anyone has suggestions there's a better way to go searching for the top carriers than manually looking at every carry offer thread in the Legion Shops subforum.

threads with several pages vouching, leaving before loot explosion is a must to me.

sounds simple but very important to me.

they all use the same cyclone build with a HH and 3 inspired learning etc etc so...maybe find someone who has an aurabot doing all the resetting,the loot is better when the resets are done right.
i just sold my latest emblems because i wasnt too impressed with the loot either,even with a 5 way and a good carrier.

wouldn't use a carry for that one 5-way run i collected splinters for in whole 3 months.

just get it done, hope for the next one to be better.

I'd suggest you run what you want for challenges and sell emblems you don't want to run after that.

Last I checked, the typical 3 emblem fight was 60-70c alone. Add 95-100c for green and 275+ for yellow....

Unless you're excessively wealthy, selling is much more reliable than risking the loot rng.

Hm, sad that the main endgame league mechanic doesn't seem to be worth even running them, even with a dedicated and arguably format-warping build.

I mean, that's why I'm looking for carries in the first place. Because despite putting together a rather good clearspeed toon this league, it just can't compete with dedicated HH+etc. builds, and going solo or with a couple friends would yield INCREDIBLY underwhelming loot given how long it takes to assemble emblems. It's not like a Cyclone or HH nerf would have made this any better either - the only way anyone's getting good loot is by using "OP" league-warping builds in the first place.

I feel like the change from 50 splinters to form an emblem to 100 may have been a huge error, as it doesn't just make the endgame tough, it makes it pretty much irrelevant to ordinary players and even a lot of serious ones. But I suppose the extremely underwhelming endgame content is... a longstanding issue, shall we say.

That said, I have the 3 sets of 5 emblems and I might as well run them. Yeah, I could sell them, but I'd at least like to experience it at least a LITTLE more. I hate that constant PoE situation where just vendoring or trading everything is more logical than actually playing the damn game. So I still want to look for a suitable carry for those three.

When I carry I do a full circle AFTER the loot drops because sometimes the Maraketh boss does not despawn after the timer ends. I would usually hit 5 bars with 2 minutes left, and I was too lazy to bother making a forum thread, because most people don't care and also most people don't want to log into the forums to rep you either.

My advice is to learn how to reset properly, because the most obnoxious thing as a carry is not having the monsters reset consistently every 2-3 seconds and then slowly losing our HH buffs because of this. Other than that, just try different carries until you get a good one. I would guess your first one will be fine but if not just try the next guy.

5 way emblem runs are all about the XP, and any loot is just a sweetener.

if you're going to sell them just wait for standard, I'm sure they will overpay for the 5 emblem there.. I'm not sure the status on the market on league since it's been almost a week since I logged, currently taking a break from poe until next league.

loot is again RNG, if you're willing to try out or not that's not on the forums to decide but then again consider that rng could bless you or not.

if you don't play standard I would say use them or sell them on league now before legion ends.

I did my first 5way emblem solo. Sure, I might've not gotten 5 bars of loot, but it wasn't hard, assuming you play Cyclone and had at least about 15 ex invested in your gear minimum, probably less even. You won't get the same loot pińata, but you will get the achievement... and maybe some valuable loot too.

I did my 1, 2, 3, 4 by myself but really wanted to see what this "5 lines" stuff was all about. I saw someone in global with a vouch thread that I looked up in the Communities forum and then PMed them. They(the dps and resetter duo) ran me through it and left immediately after the last monster died. 5 lines of loot is fantastic. You need at the very least a "very strict" loot filter, but it's awesome and you get multiple challenges completed. Yes, I could have done it myself, but this was so much better.
