Adder's Touch.. Is it worth it?

Is this group of nodes really worth getting? I feel like it adds very little damage and the poison when critting is insignificant. But I don't know if you poison when u crit with LS either.
I got it pretty early on and didn't compare my dmg increase when I put the points in. IGN @ChiefMasterKush

" I don't believe the poison effect actually adds any DPS onto your skill. I'm pretty sure its calculated individually. I could be wrong, but I know it does effect any skill you are using while criting with a dagger equipped. |

Poisonous Strike from Adder's Touch adds 10% of your damage over a few seconds (total, not each second). It's up to you if you want to invest in it.

I'd say Adder's touch isn't essential, but the 66% crit multiplier is good enough to make it worth getting.

Only good for a pure crit dagger build obviously. With a very high crit multiplier this notable can add alot of damage.
Think about it, you have base of 150% damage when you crit. Kick that up to ~300% with a good crit rate, using end game double strike which will let you crit twice, the damage will be excellent on single target. It only lasts 2 seconds so you will constantly be doing an extra 10% damage if your crit chance is high enough with double strike. If you can afford to get it, do it once you have alot of crit mult and you will see a huge difference. Getting this early wont do much for damage other than the 66% crit. |

The crit multiplier increase on it makes it very worthwhile for crit builds, considering its 66% for 5 points (+other stats) compare that to 60% multiplier for 4 points in the heartseeker group and 70% multiplier for 5 points in the bunch north of adders touch towards witch area. This is one of the more powerful crit bunches for daggers as most give crit chance, not multiplier
