Is There Any Way To Get Rid Of Einhar?

I really, really hate this guy and his beasts. With my first character, I didn't know any better and I tried to finish his quest. But his beasts are just way too powerful and I died a horrible death!

So now, with my new character, I'm trying everything I can to avoid him and his beasts. But they keep spawning! Is there some way to make them stop?

I've just been forced to log out, because this time they spawned in the 'Ancient Pyramid' and there's no way I can get past them (I'm hoping they're gone when I log back in).

But this is really spoiling the game for me. I'll be having a blast, exploring a zone, killing everything in sight and then I see those gold and red symbols on my map and the fun is over (I usually go to a different map when this happens). But is there any way to stop this from happening in the first place?

Cheers.

Unfortunately, there is no way to turn off Einhar or the other masters.

The yellow beasts should be pretty easy with a little experience as they don't have much health. The red ones have a lot of health and can take some effort to kill. You can't afford to get hit by them much. Especially with a caster, the game is a lot about movement, hitting first, and not getting hit back. Kite them, and let Einhar and your minions take them down.

I assume your new character it the one in Legion. As a league starter it's always a bit tougher because your early gear is not great. With some better gear you should be able to melt the yellow ones. The reds can be a challenge to work on, or avoid.

Other tips...

1. Get a Quicksilver flask for movement bursts (drop a mana flask for this)
2. Get a movement skill. I would suggest Flame Dash now. When you hit 34 you could also pick up Phase Run.
3. Get boots with movement speed when you can
4. Get a Stibnite flask now. Jade and Granite become options in a few levels. (drop a life flask for this)

Good luck

Thanks for the reply Steidlc. I was afraid that might be the case :(

But I have discovered one good thing, I was reading through the forum and I learned that you can hold Ctrl when you enter a zone and create a new instance of it.

This seems to work for Einhar. If his beasts spawn in a zone, now I can just leave it and create a new instance, which seems to get rid of them.

It's not perfect, but it's better than before. But they better watch out, cause when I get stronger, I'm coming back to kick some butt :)
I always am glad to see Einhar. Leveling up he usually does more damage than I. I try to make sure I don’t kill all the beasts before I have him help me kill bosses or do hard fights.

Won't help you if you passed the point in the game, but just never click on the NPC when they first appear. I do this with Alva. When she first shows up in Act 7 and has the "!" over her head I just never click her. This stops the "quest" from starting and she won't appear in any maps. I think Einhar appears in Act 2?
Einhar damages other things and you can literally see the beasts coming on the map and walk around them if you so desire. What's the problem?

I'm pretty sure I've never clicked the quest on Alva and she certainly still shows up in maps.
