Feedback and Suggestions (Path of Exile 1) - My Contagion + ED wont kill whole Legion, why? - Forum

Move as contagion spreads. Start from middle of one legion and move towards spot where other legions general is. Mobs are not active more than 2 screens away (can been seen very well on ultrawidescreen) and therefore cannot be debuffed. You move - you activate mobs. ED/Contagion isn't first-choice for Legion, don't get me wrong, it's the cheapest choice there, but not the strongest. Since Contagion in fairly limited for its spread you'll often have it stopping at a specific place, thus creating the need to run around and search where it stopped. A better build for Legion is vaal ice-Nova as it spreads endlessly. So yes, you can't do much against Legion-mobs not being unlocked, with decent damage you'll still be able to reliably open all of them in a T16 though. GGG balance is like getting a pizza which is burnt on the sides, raw in the middle and misses the most of the toppings. Then upon sending it back you get a raw side, burnt middle and enough toppings to drench everything in grease. Everything fixed but still broken. Time stops in game about two screens away. I think it's the same distance where you no longer get loot and xp if you play in a party. I could be mistaken. I usually have to do two casts of ed/contagion to get most of the monsters. I can almost never get all with one cast. Essence drain + Contagion is my favorite skill setup but its completely broken compared to others and honestly Contagion needs a nerf to either the number of jumps or to have its AOE reduced per chain which honestly would bring it a lot more in line with other skills and honestly i dont think it would really cause it to be that much less powerful, My spark build with 600% crit multi and good projectile speed struggles to compare with a significantly higher investment globally.
