well, if u have only life as defense, then probably yes, but if u know what to do and why, 5.4k with 75 ele res cap and some layers of defense is enough for whole content

my only problem with Maraketh are high ranks mobs, who attacks from offscreen (some sort of flicker strike?) and are hard to avoid (but it looks they first move to u and then quickly attack, so movement is key, but more then three are really scary)

Those Maraketh blinking rares really need to get their attack range reduced. They were the sole reason I stopped my ED/Contagion trickster because past lvl93 it is not fun to be murdered by 3 of these without any chance to escape them. I'm fine with them keeping their damage but they must not attack from off-screen--instant teleportation + damage without giving player chance to react is horrible design choice.

I play an lvl 94 ED/Cont. Trickster and I'm regularly doing T13+ legion encounters and while I get my ass handed to me by mobs of Maraketh rares now and then, it's fairly rare and most of the time either my own fault for not getting away fast enough and/or because the map mods are a bit too much. So far I also only ever had one single off-screen one-shot death from legion.

I agree that the teleport attacks are dangerous, but as far as I can tell you do have a very short moment to get away before they hit. Either that or my evasion/dodge defense via Acrobatics & Phase Acrobatics works really well because so far they never got me that way. Unfortunately, it's hard to tell for sure.
Getting instagibbed by something that is 2 screens away is always great.

Makes me feel nice when I grind hours upon hours to go for 98 and I just die instantly. All flasks up,all defensive layers up,it's like it does not matter,they hit with the power of a shaper slam.

These maraketh mobs are fantastically annoying.

What a joke, you insult the OP that is talking about Red Tier maps and you talk about tier 8. You obviously must be a troll.

Nobody is talking about tier 8 maps, Mapmods on t11 - t16 roll higher values of dangerous mods, mobs do muuuuch more damage there.

I wonder why you even join this conversation if you dont even play on the map level which is mentioned...

Maraketh Blink Dagger Dudes are deadly with crit mods oder 2+ damages mods,
I started skipping those legion encounters on such maps on t15-16 - if i wanna farm Splinters i go for (shaped) Glacier map as you can faceroll everything there.

I'm not sure if the damage needs to be toned down - but the Teleport/Blink range of those dagger dudes should be decreased so that they cant charge you from 2 screens distance - would at least give the chance to react to them
