Critique please on mace+shield LS

Hey guys,
I'm finally getting the hang of hardcore and i'm starting to work on a mace+shield LS build.
I saw the newbie guide for 1h+shield templar but it ran into the problem of low dps.

so here is my build and would like to know if i'm heading into the right direction.



Currently lv 27 and about to fight Vaal. I haven't taken any shield talents yet as im running with a 2h for the extra dps.
