Is it normal for the config file to be empty?
I've been trying to play this game, reinstalled it multiple times, but whenever I launch it, it only runs in the background with both 32 and 64 bit EXEs of PoE.
I heard about renaming or deleting the config file would get the game to work, but it doesn't fix the problem of the game not showing up on screen. The config file is by default empty, even if it spawns a new one after renaming or deleting the old one. Is this normal? If not, what settings do I need to adjust in order to make the game actually show up instead of staying in the background? Last bumped on Jul 4, 2019, 5:12:49 PM

Tried Alt+Tab?
Run it as administrator? Take full admin control over any and all PoE folders? The only reason i can think of for your config files to remain empty after new ones are created, is if you have only [read] permission for that specific folder. Then again if that was the case, you wouldn't be able to delete the config file from that folder. No rest for the wicked.
