Disregard this thread, I'm just dumb.

I just realized that none of the bug threads, or mentioned problems have been said to be on the standard PS4. I see all kinds of mention of the pro having problems though.

I'm on an original release PS4 from like 4-5 years ago. I rarely ever get crashes, and frame drops are generally mild. I just leveled a chaos witch to pound out some of the challenges, I can wipe out an entire legion in half a second in a 40% density map with only a slight stutter, doing breaches in the same density it usually drops down to 15-20 fps at the worst. Occasionally I'll get it worse at like 5-10 fps, but that's rare.

I think all you people experiencing serious problems may need to downgrade.

Edit: Yeah I just looked into it, the pro was a straight up troll, there's literally no actual upgrades. They just slapped in a better GPU and a bunch of clutter programs. That must have just been hilarious for them when they released it.

I have 3 PS4's 2 standard and 1 Pro.

PoE performance is noticeably worse on the standard with the same builds.

Saying there are no real upgrades is fairly disingenuous.

Pro GPU is 4.2gflops vs 1.8gflops
Pro CPU is 2.1ghz vs 1.8ghz
Pro has an extra GB of ram for the OS
Pro has USB 3.1, BT 4.0 and Sata 6

The the part of the upgrade the pro has that is lacking is the CPU.

Yeah I looked into multiple specs pages for it, everything said the pro had the same CPU as the standard. I just looked more for it though and found a way more specific one for all the specs, the pro definitely is a fair upgrade. I don't understand how the game runs great for me though, when everyone else is saying it's performing horribly. Gonna edit the title.
