Seeking crafting advice - Exquisite Blade

Hello,
I have finally decided to try to craft myself some nice weapon for my next build. I'm looking for advice on my first outcome that I rolled with alts & regals:


Is this item worth multimoding? If yes, what would be your suggestion to complete the weapon?

My idea is: can have multiple crafted mods, flat physical damage, Critical strike chance & quality.

This would mean the weapon cost me around 7 Exalted Orbs to craft -- around 150 fusing orbs, 3 Exalts to finish craft, 1.9 Exalts to buy the base and some alts, regals and scours.

the whole point of the elder base is to get the 'socketed gems are supported by fortify' 7 link.

attack speed is tier 6! phys/acc hybrid is tier 7.

imo, if you just want a big phys dps weapon, you should probably annul the attack speed and craft the 16-20% attack speed, or the 13-16 attack speed + quality.

but it still feels like a bit of a waste of an elder base.

Guy above me has it in a nutshell, best to roll over this one and keep alting for 7L fortify. (Which gives you 34% MORE melee damage btw)

No point using an Elder base otherwise, you may as well craft on a non elder base to reduce the pool size if you just want % phys and AS

Yes, imprint this and then regal + annul till you get your rare base!

The mandatory multimod crafts are:

- Flat Physical damage

- Quality (With strength, intelligence, or crit, up to you)

The last prefix is up to you.

+2 to socketed support gems and hits can't be evaded are both very good options.

+2 for RT builds, lyco effect for crit builds.

You want (21–25)% increased Critical Strike Chance +(13–18)% to Quality not strength.

Now, I got lucky with my craft (first time ever big meta crafting project). I have imprinted the item and went ahead with regaling it. I got lucky and hit Flaring on my first regal.



This is the semi-final product--I'm leaving last prefix open as I do not have "Hit's can't be evaded" and I do not think +2 socketed support gems is necessary at this time.

Time to start leveling my Duelist :P

PS. Anything to be done with the imprint I did not use?

Doesn't that depend on your build? Slayer with the 8% crit override node doesn't benefit from weapon local crit chance

yeaaaa thats a sword. 570 dps 7link. grats.

nice sword, wish i got a bit lucky with mine. I couldnt get the damn phys roll so i had to craft it ;(
