I like the idea generally but I'm not sure how it would work? Here's some thoughts.

-Extra storage for rings/amulets/belts

-If my character is doing greater than level 75 then it would be nice to also have extra storage for boots/belts/gloves/helmets that are below level 75 to convert the regal recipe to a chaos recipe

-Allow cashing in a recipe without talking to a vendor. With this feature maybe just be able to specify chaos instead of regals even when all items are above ilvl 75?

i take three tabs

toss accessories in first
toss boots/gloves/helmets in second
toss weapons and armor in third

i keep first tab about 1/3rd full or more.
then do recipe when either 2nd or 3rd tab begin to fill..

does not take much effort but it does require you to support the game a bit for some tabs.
I think this is a nice idea and it could be done very easy. It simply has to be a stash that takes maybe up to 20 Sets and give you the option to choose between chaos or regal - whatever is posible. It would not be necessary to show all items inside - just a counter for every helmet, weapon, ring etc. and then two buttons to convert the sets.
Some nice pictures for the set-parts and a new stash-tab is born.
I would spend money for that too :)
I don't think GGG should make a tab making Chaos generation easier... It would just create (more) inflation.

I use a recipe tab to gather the rare components...

2 Columns of Amulets
4 Columns of Rings
2 Columns of Belts
(2 free columns)

If one of the types fill before the others, I just ID whatever it is from then.

When it is full, I start gathering everything else that is usable in another tab, exchanging as I get sets.
Works well. If I need some <iLvl75 items, I just run a suitable Delve once.
