Cadiro's Redemption - The Trading League



Introduction
After centuries of wandering the countryside in search of wealth and his lost caches, the saviour of Wreaclast has caught his attention. The endeavours that have been undertaken have value. They have opportunity to be exploited.
Cadiro Perandus now seeks to develop a plot to earn the exile’s trust and break his servitude to Prospero to allow him to exploit the modern economy.

The Basic concept
Through some nefarious means, Cadiro finds a method to trick the exile into allowing him into his entourage as a new master.
Cadiro will have two functions as a master, firstly:
He offers to act as an intermediary for trading items, at a cost. For every transaction that Cadiro undertakes on the exile’s behalf, the player must pay Cadiro in his most trusted currency, Perandus Coins.
Each base type of an item will have a set cost for holding an item for sale, Cadiro seeks to make larger returns for his backer to support his liquidity and keep the illusion that he is faithful, and as such he will allow the exile to price the items as they see fit. As long as he gets his coins, he doesn’t care.
This could potentially act as stash tabs do currently for selling items.
Secondly – Cadiro will pay Perandus Coins for any unique items that the exile has no use for. They have value to him in another capacity.
(There could be another mechanic to make this a viable league for SSF players to interact with Cadiro)

The League’s Gameplay Loop
There have been rumours of Cadiro’s lost caches resurfacing around Wraeclast. Find and recover the contents for him and as a reward he will grant you Perandus Coins (The caches could contain legacy league items as an additional reward?).
As the exile becomes more familiar with Cadiro and his suspicious behaviour, Cadiro will offer to exchange information for a set price of Perandus Coins. This information will lead the exile to areas previously explored and will tell the story of the Perandus family and their interactions with the Silent Brotherhood (initially started at the Marketplace, subsequent areas could be through the maps with the Marketplace tileset?)
Once the exile has discovered the remnants of history, Perandus will then tell the exile about Prospero, the god of lost souls and found treasures, Lord of the underworld and all its material bounty.
Either a new map or an area similar to incursion, the exile will be able to enter the realm of Prospero and face the challenges within (potentially have Prospero as a new boss encounter?)

The Potential for the League
This league will give GGG a story based reason to change the trading system to their desire. As well as sharing the loot piñata mechanics that players have enjoyed previously.
