Steam and stand alone launcher not syncing

Hello, I recently just wanted to play from the stand alone client instead of steam, but my characters arn't synced. My account says that it is synced. Thank you for your assistance.

I'm not sure what you mean by "synced", if you want to play your Steam PoE account via the stand alone client you need to add an email address to it, since you created your Steam PoE via Steam it won't have an email address on GGG's side.

You will want to log out of your current account, use the "Sign in with Steam" button and then go to your change email link (https://www.pathofexile.com/my-account/change-email).

In this case since you have two accounts, remember you can't have two accounts linked to the same email address, you'll either need to choose a different email address for your Steam PoE, change the email of your PoE website account or email support@grindinggear.com to delete your PoE website account and free up your email.

If you're not sore about losing your PoE website account, it might be best to have it deleted so you don't get confused and accidentally purchase items on it :)
