Carnage Heart + Rage Leech bug?

I have been playing a Cyclone build and loving it. But i just got myself a carnage heart and now when i use rage with it, my hp keeps lowering even as i use my abilities that normally heal me. It lowers down to about a third and as soon as I take damage it goes to max so visually i am low but number wise im at full. But its distracting and i dont know why it suddenly happens once i equiped Carnage Heart.
