+ Energy shield vs + maximum energy shield

Hi,
I am wondering, what is the difference, from nodes that give + energy shield (or health) and nodes that give + Maximum energy shield (or health)?

Is it the same, just worded differently or is there actually a difference?

+ energy shield increases the energy shield of the gear that the mod is on.

+ maximum energy shield increases your overall base ES and is found on gear that don't have ES

for the purposes of calculating your maximum ES, just add the ES from your gear and ES from the +maximum energy shield mods and multiply it by your nodes

Ah, thank you. I have missed, that the + energy shield was actually affecting the shield, and not my character in general.

the new es node is awesome it made it possible to play ci with medicore gear again

if i understand it correct it like the old ci just 30% less value



the es nodes in the middle are still not worthy to pick
