Im not here to blame GGG, cuz as im concerned they fix the majority of bugs, however... this is really frustating for SSF players, u cant trade, u cant party, unstable servers and still receive bugs with map drops
RIP my dunes maps |

There is a bug where the special "adjacent" map drops from Map Bosses do not correctly use your Atlas state, and thus can drop unshaped maps that you have shaped, and/or sometimes drop T1 maps that should be upgraded due to having 100 or more bonus objectives, etc.
This will be fixed. Note however, that the bonus objective completion map tier upgrade only applies when rolling the map tier, which implicitly does not happen for "adjacent" maps. Therefore, it will not affect the special map boss drops, unless there are no valid adjacent maps to drop at all, in which case it falls back to a regular map drop. In other words, it is correct for a T2 map boss to sometimes drop an adjacent (unshaped) T1 map, even if your bonus completion is over 100. It is not correct for a T2 map boss to drop an adjacent T1 map that has been shaped to T6 (or Eldered to T16). Code warrior

" Thanks for clarifying this. This however brings up another thing; After the bug is fixed and it will work as it's intended, what would happen in these scenarios; a) I'm running a T4 Strand, adjacent to T5 Peninsula and T3 Arid Lake. If I shape T3 Arid Lake to T8, thus removing it from the adjacent drop pool, will this force every 'adjacent bonus map drop' to be T5 Peninsula? b) I'm running a T4 Strand again, but this time I've shaped T3 Arid Lake to T8, and T5 Peninsula to T10. As there are now no adjacent maps that are able to drop within the drop level restrictions, will this mean that I'm now able to obtain +2 tier map drops due to the fall back to a regular map drop, even though normally the adjacent bonus drop is unable to do that due to there never being adjacent +2 tier maps? I personally find it a bit weird that we now have yet another way to help us obtain adjacent maps from the map we are running, because we already have so many: 1) Adjacency bonus 4x in comparison to other maps of the same tier 2) Locked bonus 2x (8x when locked and adjacent) in comparison to other maps of the same tier 3) Horizon orbs are now normal currency drops 4) Zana mod for 1 chaos to reroll the map to other map of the same tier 5) 3-to-1 recipes no longer limited to only one adjacent +1 tier map, and instead can give any adjacent +1 tier map 6) Corrupting any map of the same tier within the quadrant can yield any +1 tier map of the same quadrant (This is actually causing a bug where you're unable to corrupt a T13 Shrine from T12 Shipyard I believe, as they are adjacent but not in the same quadrant) A bit out of the scope of a bug report I suppose, sorry (well except that Shipyard to Shrine thing I guess)! |

Maybe outside of the bug report, but I like the questions : )
