This is a known issue that some PCs have when playing for too long. I'd just suggest restarting your client if it happens frequently, or there is more info in the Known Issues List.
Balance & Design

sorry if I'm reviving a dead subject but I've been getting this message quite often now

I've added - gc2 to the shortcut to no avail

I know its a known issue I'm just letting you know its still happening

It usually happens when going from instance to instance or town to instance

Cheers
Hardware specifications and background tasks/resources make a difference. You should be able to play 1-2hours before seeing that....

Try turning down the Graphical details within game, and turning off the Sound.

OS: WinXP SP2 32bit
CPU: Athlon 64 X2 3800+
Ram : 4GB Kingston PC2-6400 5-5-5-18
Mobo: Abit KN9-Sli (NF570-Sli chipset with Realtek Audio)
GPU: ATI HD4670 1GB
HD: Maxtor 20GB - OS - Seagate 500GB - Games / Storage / PageFile
Network / ISP: Wired / Cox Cable
Graphics are already on their lowest settings. Yea it happens within half an hour of play

Ill try with the sound off

Surely 3Gb of RAM should be enough?

In the task manager it shows me that the client is using 1.3 Gb

Its starts at around 800 Mb then gradually increases
Just trying to get you a little more time, some of your background items turned off might yield a little longer as well.

I could boil a cup of coffee with the heat coming out of my laptop so I'm disassembling and giving it a clean then see how it goes again
Did you get all the temps prior to opening it?

I always suggest SPECCY to get alot of information Temps included, CPUID does as well, would have been interesting to know the temps after a cold boot before and after cleaning.
