Best way to spread Blind?

Hi,

I'm at the planning stage of my new dodge char. He will use Acrobatics and full Evasion armor. To make this work (jeje i know this isnt the supreme build, but it's fun. for me) I'm planning to debuff every enemy I fight with Blind. So my question is, which is the easiest/fastest way to spread blind on critters?

Spell totem with a fast casting AoE of some sort with increaed radius? Maybe ice nova even? Or self casted Arcs with chain? Sporks? Ranged attack totems?

Remember, I dont care about damage, just the spread. So gimping damage with GMP+chain doesnt matter.

So either some auto piercing attack (like most ice skills) or some massive aoe thingie or some gmp+chain combo.



Any ideas?

i use a unique Moonsorrow wand, and skill gems are supported by level 5 blind. so 3 sockets.. i installed: spell totem, spark and elemental proliferation. blind spreads very good, also the shock status effect is spread.
ofc, you dont need to link it with proliferation since it doesnt affect blind spreading. so, i think spork is a good way of doing it ;)

I can imagine whirling blades would be a fun way. Stuff totems.

If I put pierce on say, Split arrow, would the Blind only affect the first mob hit or do the second mob also get affected if a pierce happen? Cause then I might do a ranged attack totem with fast atk, pierce, split arrow, gmp, fork. The 6L is from a 2-hander on weapon switch btw.

Pierce and Fork do not work together. Mutually exclusive. Also, Ranged Attack Totem draws from your weapon, thus you need a Bow/Wand equipped for it to function.

If you wish to spread Blind, Skeleton Totems do this fairly well. Arc (+Blind+Faster Casting) is another viable option that will double up as a shock stacker. Ice Nova is another alternative.

Is there some sort of visual queue that blind is applied? I've been using it for a long while now but I haven't noticed any visual to see if is actually applied or not (same with my fear gem).

Yes. There is a visual cue over the target's head in the form of a white flashing twinkle.

My best bet would be flame totem+GMP+Blind. Should be able to cast blind 12.5 times per second.

i will try a ice/blind tower with ice shot, chain, blind, ele. profileration. :D
