Molten shell supports not working (solved)

I am currently testing molten shell and vaal molten shell and most support gems do not affect it.

Less duration, Inc AoE, and conc effect do appear to work



elemental focus does not

combustion does not

controlled destruction does not

fire penetration does not


Molten Shell has the following tags:
vaal, spell, AoE, Duration, Fire, Physical guard

Is this intended?

As Molten Shell deals Reflected damage and doesn't 'hit,' it is not supported by skill gems that increase the damage of hits.

Dose it affect Reflected damage that increased spell/fire damage,
damage penetrate and chance to ignite in the skill tree?

I think so that 'guard' tag instead of 'spell' tag like a 'warcry' tag.
