Fps drop when water is in the screen.

After every patch, when the game need to draw the water effects the fps dropes and the latency spikes. i have to restart the client to fix it.

Same problem for me, FPS goes from 200 to 5 when moving water is on screen - like Nessa waterfall or Brine King fight. Restarting also fixes.
I'm also having this problem - dropping water quality to low fixes my FPS in some areas, but not others.

I notice there are a few graphical artifacts appearing in the water (flashing white squares), and I'm also seeing a few other oddities like glowing blue bushes in the western forest, but they're not performance impacting like the water.

Same here. Dropping water quality to low seems to help somewhat but never had this issues prior to 3.7.
any solutions so far?
I will add my name to the list of people having the same issue. Definitely the water. Did not have any similar issues last patch.
You can try to delete the shader cache folders where the game is installed.
Same problem here. Never happened before this league.
