Added Physical damage vs elemental damage on abyss jewels

"
On the other end of the scale, Abyssal Jewels were providing far more added damage to attacks than we were happy with, making them a far, far greater contributor to damage than your weapon. We've lowered the value of attack damage modifiers to be about 30% lower than before, and made it harder to obtain the highest tiers of all types of added damage.

Below are 2 jewels of level 1 providing a significant difference in physical and elemental damage which can be put into a darkness enthroned.

Can you see the problem here? my suggestion would be to increase the flat physical damage by 1 point and 2 points high and reduce the elemental damage by about 50%. Perhaps that is too much, but the point is that physical damage deserves a buff while elemental deserve a heavy nerf. Using a quill rain with elemental jewels like these are a heavy buff to damage while using a physical damage jewel is a small difference.
Why buff physical and nerf elemental? At low levels, it's hard to get sources of increased elemental damage and easier to get physical, i'm saying easier on purpose because at level 1, the amount of increased physical damage you will get will not even begin to help the jewels out and make them on par with elemental equivalents. Just using 2 max rolled level 1 abyss jewel won't beat that of an elemental jewel in raw numbers and increased physical will not be enough to compensate. Abyss jewels have always been too strong in providing flat damage compared to normal jewel equivalents, which is why the change to jewels are necessary, but you failed to mention this is exclusive to elemental jewels and only a 30% nerf, which is concerning.
I usually do not read popular posts again after i made a comment on it, unless it's one of my own. I wish to have a Black robed Grim Reaper micro set in game one day, grant my wish, GGG
