Attack / Cast Speed Effect on Winter Orb

Does Attack or Cast Speed do anything for winter orb besides speeding up the charge up? I'm trying to figure out why PoB shows large Total DPS increases for taking nodes that buff these on a WO build...

Right. So once charged up there is no DPS difference from attack / cast speed. Correct?

According to information that I've read, cast speed does in fact increase the fire rate of the projectiles. It's not supposed to be able to, but it does for right now. It's very possible that GGG fixes this in the future, but for now, stacking cast speed is a good thing for Winter Orb builds.
