Still no word on cross platform support?

As the title says still nothing other than basically ask Sony? I just want to be able to play with family and friends instead of being walled off. Anything regarding info or what ever would be appreciated.

Again posting here probably isnt helpful. This isn't a PoE issue.

Hopefully though, crossplay will become more common, and it has been in the news lately that Sony and Microsoft have agreed to some partnership.

Also games like Rocket League and the newly released Dauntless already have crossplay, so its not a total fantasy.

Did dauntless actually launch on consoles yet? It's been a while since I touched that game.

Yeah my apologies new to pc and forums and such so not sure where certain types of posts go where. I was specifically thinking about rocket league and dauntless when i decided to make the post. It's frustrating due to having played on ps4 with my father (we both love dungeon crawler games and so on) and it breakiong and now being locked away form my character but more importantly breaking the fun. I know not everyone has the same situations but it's such a good QoL thing that many players don't understand how much more open the game is allowed to play with everyone together and trading being much easier (especially for console). Just a wish lol :p

Uh for reference, even if Sony gives the okay for cross-play, the PC and console versions of the game are so different that GGG has stated there are no plans to enable cross-play with the PC. It'll just be PS4 + XBone crossplay.

It looks like you're PC user so don't get your hopes up that family playing on console will be able to play with you.

The point is that since it is the console companies who are saying no, it is on their forums that you should be making your post.

GGG can't do anything about it.

The only way they will ever have cross platform with pc and consular is if they make both games identical, which they can't and won't.

It would be cool if u could cross play for sure.

It seem the smartest people just go with the most popular console - a huge community that crossplay with another community less than 5% the size of your own is barely worth considering, while at the same time you're away from the arrogant and toxic PCMR crowd.
