3.7 Akuna's Will 3.3Mill Dot DPS Caustic Cloud, 5Mill DD (7.5Million DPS) Zombiemancer concept

I had this build in Mind about 2 Years. It was possible but very clunky. With the new item introduced in 3.7 Legion, my build comes finally online.

Keep in Mind that this Build Concept works only as Necromancer!

+34 to Dexterity
5% increased Cast Speed
135% increased Evasion and Energy Shield
Raised Zombies have 97% increased maximum Life (huge damage boost)
Raise Zombie does not require a Corpse (removes the clunkyness)
Your Raised Zombies count as Corpses (detonate dead enabler)


With these little gloves, you can cast Zombies without Corps, plus they count as corps, so you can let them explode, while alive. With 110.000 HP, they give us probably the biggest corpses hp-wise in the game. The Necromancer Ascendancy, they also spread caustic clouds on death, which do 50% of their hp as chaos damage. The third source of damage comes from minion instability.

Because Legion has not yet started, this is a concept

Pro's and Con's:

Pro's
- Can be used as league Starter. Play as regulär Zombiemancer, as soon as you get Akuna's Will you start the Main Build
- High Dot-Damage (3.3Million)
- Zombies with insane HP can block a lot of Damage incoming.
- Zombies can still taunt if you want the Option (Taunt die, recast, taunt die)

Con's
- playing Summoner is not for everyone
- can be very expensive in endgame
- can be very hard to optain, no one is selling items with mostly minion hp
- weired passive tree


Path of Building


Probly you scale your damage 90% of the time with Minion Life and Minion Damage. Besides increasing the Level of you skills (Zombies mostly), there is no other option but decreasing the resistance of your enemies. You can increase the damage of Detonate Dead, but it is not needed, cause caustic cloud is gonna be the best option for this build.

So stack all Minion HP and Damage, grab all the Jewel Nodes you can travel (i got 9) and try to fill the rest with decent amounts of Hp Nodes and mana nodes along side with MoM for more effective HP.

detonate dead initial hit: 123.510 thousand
detonate dead corps explosion (6% of the Zombies HP around 7k): 699.282 Thousand (6 Zombies)


Caustic Cloud: 3.300.000
Minion Instability: 6*415.000 = 2.490.000 Million
DD Initial Hit: 123.510
DD Corps Explosion: 6*699.282 = 4.195.692

Probly best in slot amulett, you can craft a rare amulet with +1 Zombies, but you lose alot of dps

I figured the same. Minion Instability only triggers when below 33% health, not upon death. Also the calculations are very, very optimistic. Of course you state ''when optimal'' but this is a little crazy. Not even mirror crazy.

Not sure about the caustic calculation either.

Ball Lightning Elementalist - Comfortable, safe, scales well. Simply enjoying your balls.
Another problem... earlier on at least, flesh/etc offering with akuna's murders your zombies and they cost a ton of mana so you can't get them all back up that quickly.

i'm trying it out still but probably going to just stay with a zombiemancer build... mostly doing the build for stress less farming.
That POB is so funny, mirror tier T1 perfect jewels X9, PErfect gear for resist and life pool.

Normal builds using normal gear and you get 4klife max and those cloud dps numbers are divided by 2.5
