If you've never played SSF but always kind of wanted to, Flashback is a great time to start.

I've seen a number of people over the years wish for a single player (before SSF was a thing) or an offline mode with buffed drop rates.

This flashback thing is probably as close as you'll ever get. The loot is good, and the zone buffs apply in the memory nexus, helping out loot there too. Delve might be the least rewarding thing I've done so far in Flashback SSF.

Do recommend.

Yes. And, (pardon my still hopeful spirit) GGG should juice up solo self found with this sort of thing with no migration to standard. That would equalize the leagues.

I keep hearing that SSF is for the challenge. Perhaps for some, for the other 99% they just don't want to deal with the assholes. I never fail to be amazed at the morons who just spout back the "manifesto" like it is some sort of fool proof document. IMO GGG is wrong on this - but I do understand that it would be somewhat risky from a business perspective.

Theoretically, GGG wants people to play their game? Yes? This is how to increase the audience. A decent AH (of some sort) would do the same. Personally I think that GGG should never have screwed with SSF...it goes against their core values of player interaction - thus I'm guessing that they will never juice up SSF to equalize it vs the trade league.

No they shouldn't... and wont. SSF is fine without any "juice".

Once ssf starts to have better drops or whatever else bonuses, it's that moment when everything about it becomes useless.

This is often the excuse when people use cheat codes in games. They claim it's boring if they don't. That's great for them. More the better. But you can't ask them to change the game that others enjoy to suit the cheater.

Trade isn't cheating, but has similar symptoms. Players lose interest quicker and demand more and more. New leagues. New loot. New skills. The development pace is set by traders. SSF mode is in place for those of us that like it. Don't bring your "got to have it now" attitude to SSF.
i dont get how ppl play ssf. like, before a make a character, i make a build, before i make a build i choose the uniques am making the build about. how can i make a build in ssf if im 99% sure i am not gonna drop X unique for the build?.

do ppl in ssf just make random builds when things drops or what?

Yeah lets say a insane watcher's eye drop. Then you try to theorycraft around that.

Or if some build-enabling uniques drop, then you can build around those.

Usually SSF players leaguestart with something that scales on gem level and not your gear with zero unique requirement eventough my first SSF build was a cyclone slayer where I saved up all my alterations to try and craft a decent vaal axe :p It was back in Harbinger, so it has no where near the same power creep as now, but I still love having it.
