Delve hidden Currency Nodes Reward Amount

This league is the first where i "pushed" Delve (340 Depth).

And I noticed that pretty much all hidden Currency Nodes arent rewarding at all. The highest reward I got was 5 Chisel, a sextant and a regret. All other where either just a chaos or the likes.
And its 9/10 times only 1 Chest to click.

Now, I kinda want to complain about that since I think hidden paths you have to search and free up, should be more rewarding.

BUT

Maybe im just unlucky?
Or is this intended?
Do I need to go further down for more?

Whats your experience?

My experience so far is (not super much experience though...) that those hidden nodes in general (all types) dont seem to give me much better stuff than what I find behind random fractured walls and similar...

It's about the potential rewards, not the actual rewards, as with most things in PoE.

You can *potentially* get specific chest types that guarantee amazing things (like the abyss fossil node) but those chests are very rare.

They aren't bad for the minimal work involved getting them, they have above average drops on solid currencies like blessed and cartos. The big ones are called I think "Opulent" which are rarer but drop Exalts / Annuls regularly. And theres a relatively good chance of also seeing the fossil drops and unique chests behind walls.

never go out of your way for "hidden" nodes. they will never be worth that.

Are the "hidden" nodes supposed to be better than regular nodes? They never seem to be.

Not sure if it's confirmed, but the quality & number of chests of a currency node also seem to be related to the length of the path to reach it. IE - a 1 node segment will be nowhere near as rewarding as a 3 or 4 segment path to reach the currency node.

In Delve, I find currency nodes usually worth pathing to (especially compared to the Synthesis currency memories which usually spam jewelers and chromes).

It was not that bad in the Delve league. But from those times some nerfes happened as usual to any league going core. Now whole currency node usually not even close to arcanist box. So dont hunt those nodes, definitely. Only if you have room to dissapointment in your soul, and excess of sulphite ofc.

And deep here doesnt matter at all.
You get same in 40 deep as in 300.

That's not true. More chests roll in deeper depths, and more mods on average for more iiq from those chests.

With that said, 340 isn't that deep. 600 would offer you a clear visual difference, but 340 is like 6 max chests whereas 40 is like 3 or 4 max?
