Option to disable respawn in town
Is it possible (or is there currently a way) to disable respawn in town option on death? Seen a few posts on this that seem relatively old, but no real outcome / action taken.
Kinda annoying when you die in Softcore after finally getting a boss encounter in league to accidentally hit respawn in town an then have boss encounter close / disappear because I 'left the area'. encounter has 6 portals, but completely useless when accidentally hit respawn in town. In general, dont really get why respawn in town is a thing once you get to endgame anymore. Doesn't really add anything other than laggy town and unnecessary TP to HO. Can GGG run a quick stat check (% of times player opts to respawn in town instead of HO)? if its a relatively low %, then can we consider it's removal (preferably by opt in)? Would be a small QoL improvement, but hopefully something that wouldn't take too much effort. Cheers guys and thanks for an awesome game :-) Last bumped on Apr 23, 2019, 11:44:34 AM

Or at least move it further away or add an confirmation box... it's too easy to accidentally hit res in Town!!

I was hoping you'd make a thread asking to disable that option when it comes to bosses that FORCE you back to town on death (ex. Elder). Unfortunately, this one is a non-issue. You just need to slow down how quickly you point and click buttons. :P
PoE players: Our game has a wide diversity of builds.
Also PoE players: The [league mechanic] doesn't need to be nerfed, you just need to play a [current meta] build! MFers found strength in their Afflictions. They became reliant on them. I am not so foolish. |
