So uh I'm looking at lore for once so if I understand correctly this guy literally could not get a girl pregnat no matter how many times he fucks so hes like ALRIGHT time to make THESE TRIALS which the player base LOVES of course. Whoever passes the trial gets to be a BAD ASS EMPEROR.

" This is all true, but not quite the full story. Izaro's lineage has been going on for 1500 years, almost as long as the Eternal Empire itself. Because of this, the commonly accepted notion was that the Phrecius family has divine right to rule. Then Romira's "banquet" happened. Then Izaro's infertility happened. Which all made Izaro call bs on the whole divine right thing and go back to the "build a deathtrap and if it kills you then I guess you weren't emperor material lol" method of succession. The problem was that the Perandus family, who have basically been first in line to the throne for all of those 1500 years, weren't exactly keen on losing this shot at rising to power to some fucking commoner who gets lucky in the lab. So Chitus actually bribed the builders of the lab to hide secret supplies for him, and that's the only reason he could make it through. (Chitus -> "cheats", get it???) And then of course Chitus let Malachai do all his thaumaturgy shit which led to him basically blowing up the world. So yeah, the moral of the story is that Wraeclast is fucked because Izaro couldn't manage to knock someone up. |

" what i mean is a good number of things. - layouts in general. so i think the layout of lab is terrible. basically for every room you have two sets of traps. one near the start to progress and one near your exit to progress. of course there are exceptions but this is pretty average. if you have an objective, like a key, gold key, darkshrine etc, thats another set of traps. if those objectives are in a separate side room, thats another 2-3 set of traps. its just fucking redundant and a huge time waste, honestly. - the fact that lab is completely separate from any and all league mechanics is a huuuuuuuuuge hit. you're basically forced to bypass the league while running lab and it feels bad. i dunno i used to have it really thought out and a lot of ideas as how to to change and improve it but i forget a lot of em and don't really care anymore. lab just feels like garbage especially if you're playing league. |
